More and more these days you hear about people being released from prison because they were wrongfully convicted. It has become such a hot topic that a primetime television show dealing with the subject premiered last season.

More often than not when you hear of someone being released DNA evidence helped to clear them. In fact most organizations created to help the wrongfully convicted only deal with cases where there is DNA or physical evidence that can be used. What about those cases where there is no DNA evidence? Those cases where there is no physical evidence at all. Cases where there is only testimony.

Who helps these individuals? How can we help these individuals? These are the questions that sparked the creation of this organization.

WRONGFUL CONVICTION FACTS

Statistics show that over 2 million people are incarcerated across the United States.

Of that 2 million about 3% - 4% are actually innocent; that's a staggering 70,000 - 80,000, people incarcerated for crimes that they did not commit!
